This project puts our epistemic commitments to work in a sustained human–AI inquiry. Its book, methodology, and analyses expose both the resulting ideas and the architecture that helped produce them to further criticism.
Explanata is our epistemic agent harness. It makes selected commitments about problems, explanations, and criticism operational within a human–AI working environment. People direct the inquiry; artificial agents help generate, retrieve, compare, and criticize candidate explanations. The resulting work can expose problems in the assumptions and architecture that shaped it.
Kinematic Data Modeling (KDM) makes explanatory structure in human-readable work explicit and operable by artificial agents. It represents explanatory objects, relationships, and candidate changes while preserving their source and qualifications. Applied after the inepistemic book was completed, it opened another surface for analysis and criticism without treating represented claims as independently established facts.
